Modern animated remake. Animal Farm is a brand new 2025 movie directed by Andy Serkis that tells a funny, clever story about animals on a farm. It's the third time this famous story has been made into a film, after versions in 1954 and 1999.

Star-studded voice cast. The movie features the voices of Seth Rogen, Glenn Close, Kieran Culkin, Woody Harrelson, and many other famous actors bringing the animal characters to life.

New character, Lucky. This version creates its own fresh story with original characters, including a young piglet called Lucky who is the hero of the film and goes on a coming-of-age adventure.

Dark comedy vibes. The film is described as a satirical dark comedy, which means it's funny and clever while poking fun at serious ideas in a lighthearted way.

Based on a classic. The movie is loosely inspired by George Orwell's 1945 novella, a famous book that uses animal characters to tell a powerful story about power and fairness.
