Made from corn. Arepas are made by mixing ground cornmeal with water and salt to create a soft dough, then shaping it into a flat oval or circular patty.
Cooked to perfection. The dough patty is griddled, fried, or baked until it gets a crispy, golden outside while staying warm and tender inside.
Stuffed with yummy fillings. You can eat an arepa plain, or slice it open and stuff it with cheese, meat, beans, avocado, or other delicious ingredients.
