Not a true berry. Botanically, strawberries are not berries at all. Instead, they're called aggregate accessory fruits, which means they're made up of many smaller fruits joined together.

Part of rose family. Strawberries belong to the same plant family as roses, called Rosaceae. This family includes lots of plants with delicious fruits.

Fake seeds are real fruits. Those tiny dot-like things on the outside of a strawberry that look like seeds are actually called achenes, and each one is a real fruit with a seed inside it.

Loved worldwide. Strawberries are grown and eaten all over the world, either fresh or made into jams, ice creams, chocolates, and even artificial flavorings for other foods.

Amazing aroma. People enjoy strawberries for their wonderful smell, bright red color, juicy texture, and sweet taste all together.
