Cool Facts
Net divides the court. Two teams stand on opposite sides of a sandy court separated by a net, kind of like indoor volleyball but played outside on the beach.
Small team sizes. Each team has two to six players working together, so even small groups of friends can play.
Score by grounding the ball. The main goal is to hit the ball over the net and land it on your opponent's side of the court before they can hit it back.
Defense matters too. Teams also work hard to keep the ball from landing on their own side by diving, jumping, and passing to teammates.
