Scalable and elastic. Cloud systems can grow or shrink based on how much you're using them. If you suddenly need more storage or computing power, the cloud expands to help you without any fussing around.

Self-service setup. You can add what you need and manage things yourself without calling someone to help you set it up. It's designed to be user-friendly so people can handle their own data and resources.

Shared resources. Many people and businesses use the same cloud servers, but everything stays separate and secure, kind of like how an apartment building shares electricity but each unit has its own meter.
