Doctor and Missionary. Livingstone was trained as a doctor and worked for the London Missionary Society, bringing medicine and Christian faith to people in Africa.

African Explorer. He traveled thousands of miles across Africa, discovering new lands and rivers, including the Victoria Falls, which he named after Queen Victoria.

Anti-Slavery Fighter. Livingstone was deeply opposed to slavery and used his explorations to learn about the slave trade in Africa so he could help stop it.
