Training Hall. A dojo is a dedicated space, usually a room or building, where martial arts students practice their skills. It's designed to be a focused place where people can learn by doing, not just listening.
Way of Discipline. The word dojo comes from Japanese and literally means 'place of the Way.' It reflects the idea that martial arts are a path of personal growth and self-improvement, not just fighting techniques.
More Than Martial Arts. While dojos are famous for teaching karate, judo, and other martial arts, they can also be spaces for meditation, tea ceremony, or any activity focused on learning through practice and experience.
