Massive performing arts party. The Edinburgh Fringe is the world's largest performing arts festival, with tens of thousands of performances happening all at once in one city. In 2025 alone, there were nearly 54,000 performances of almost 4,000 different shows.

Artists from everywhere. Performers and artists come from 68 different countries to participate in the Fringe, making it a truly global celebration of creativity and talent.

Hundreds of venues. The festival uses 301 different venues across Edinburgh, from huge theaters to tiny rooms, so there's always something new to discover around every corner.

Enormous ticket sales. Audiences love the Fringe so much that in 2025, more than 2.6 million tickets were sold, meaning millions of people came to watch the performances.

Month-long celebration. The Festival Fringe runs for about 25 days every year, giving audiences plenty of time to explore comedy shows, magic acts, plays, dance performances, and all kinds of creative entertainment.
