Cool Facts
Spotting opportunities. Entrepreneurs look at the world and think, 'I could make something better or different.' They might notice that no one sells a certain type of snack, or that kids need a better way to organize their homework, and then they decide to create that solution themselves.
Starting from scratch. An entrepreneur usually starts small, often with their own money and lots of hard work. They might begin in their garage, bedroom, or kitchen before their business grows into something bigger.
Taking big risks. When you start a business, there is no guarantee it will succeed. An entrepreneur puts in time, money, and effort knowing they might lose it all, but they believe in their idea enough to try anyway.
Creating value. Entrepreneurs don't just make money for themselves. They create jobs for other people, bring new products to stores, and solve problems that improve people's lives.
Making it happen. Being an entrepreneur means you have to be creative, determined, and willing to learn from mistakes. You can't just have an idea, you have to actually build it and convince people to buy it.
