Finding the Bugs. Game testers play through games looking for glitches, crashes, and weird things that shouldn't happen. They write down everything they find so programmers can fix it before you buy the game.

Work Behind the Scenes. While you enjoy a finished game, testers played it hundreds of times before it came out, checking every level, button, and character interaction to make sure nothing breaks.

Super Important Skills. Good game testers need to think critically, pay close attention to details, and be able to explain problems clearly so other team members understand exactly what went wrong.

A Tough Job. Game testing can be exhausting because testers repeat the same tasks over and over, sometimes working long hours especially right before a game releases to the public.
