Many different names. A cleaner might also be called a janitor, custodian, porter, or caretaker depending on where they work. They all do similar jobs like sweeping, mopping, and tidying spaces.

More than just cleaning. Janitors don't just clean buildings. They often handle maintenance tasks like fixing small problems and making sure the building is secure and safe.

Schools need them too. Many schools have janitors or site managers who keep classrooms, hallways, and bathrooms clean so students can learn in a healthy environment.

Different from managers. Building superintendents and site managers have bigger responsibilities like managing buildings or schools, but they usually don't do the actual cleaning work themselves.
