Three connected towers. The resort has three tall hotel towers that are connected at the top by a special rooftop called the Sands Skypark, which holds up to 3,902 people and stretches 340 meters long.

Swimming pool in the clouds. At 150 meters high (taller than the Statue of Liberty!), the infinity pool on top of the Skypark sits on the world's largest public cantilevered platform, which means it juts out over the north tower by 66.5 meters without pillars underneath.

A shopping paradise. The resort includes a 74,000-square-metre luxury shopping mall called The Shoppes, plus the world's first Louis Vuitton Island Maison and the world's first floating Apple store.

Record-breaking expensive. When it opened in 2010, Marina Bay Sands cost about 8 billion Singapore dollars, making it the world's most expensive standalone casino property ever built.

Many attractions inside. Beyond the hotel rooms, the massive complex has a convention center, an ArtScience museum, restaurants by celebrity chefs, a theater with 2,183 seats, and a casino with 500 tables.
