Seriously tiny primates. Marmosets are some of the smallest monkeys in the world, making them perfectly sized for swinging through tree branches in South American rainforests where bigger monkeys can't go.

Incredibly loud calls. Despite their tiny size, marmosets make surprisingly loud and complex sounds to talk to each other and warn their group about danger, which is amazing for animals the size of a squirrel.

Tight family groups. Marmosets live in close family groups and stick together, with all the adults helping to care for babies, which is unusual and special in the monkey world.

Tree-dwelling acrobats. These little monkeys spend almost their whole lives in trees, using their sharp claws and long tails to grip branches and leap between them with incredible agility.

Picky eaters. Marmosets love tree sap, gum, and insects, and they actually have special teeth and stomachs designed to break down the tough plant materials they munch on.
