Roll and move. Players roll two dice to move their token around the board clockwise, buying properties and railroads as they land on them. The goal is to own as much as possible and collect rent from other players who land on your properties.

Build your empire. When you own properties in a color group, you can build houses and hotels on them to increase the rent other players must pay. The more buildings you add, the more money you make from unlucky visitors.

Go means money. Every time you pass the 'Go' space on the board, you collect a salary to help fund your property purchases and keep you in the game.

Jail isn't all bad. Landing in jail stops you from moving for a while, but it's actually a safe place where opponents can't charge you rent, which can be a smart place to stay when they own expensive properties.

Cards change everything. Chance and Community Chest cards can give you money, make you pay fines, or send you to jail, adding unpredictable twists that make each game feel different.
