Created in 1939. A writer named Robert L. May invented Rudolph for a store advertisement, and the character became so popular that he's now known all around the world.

Nose shines bright. Rudolph's luminous red nose is so bright and powerful that it can light the way through thick fog and harsh winter snow, making him the perfect leader for Santa's team.

Bullied at first. When Rudolph was a young fawn, the other reindeer made fun of his unusual red nose instead of understanding how special it made him.

Becomes the hero. On Christmas Eve, Rudolph's unique red nose turns out to be exactly what Santa needs, and he gets to lead all the other reindeer to deliver presents around the world.
