Creative challenges exist. Some scavenger hunts ask you to take photos of items instead of collecting them, or complete tasks in the most creative way possible rather than just finding things.

Clues lead the way. A treasure hunt is similar but has you follow a series of clues in a specific order to find objects or reach a final prize, like a map to buried treasure.

No buying allowed. The best part is that you find items without spending money, which means searching your neighborhood, home, or yard for things that are already around you.
