Started in 1907. Scouting began in Britain when a man named Robert Baden-Powell organized a camp for 20 boys on an island. It grew so fast that it became a worldwide movement that still has millions of members today.

Earned through adventure. Scouts work toward badges and ranks by learning skills like camping, knot-tying, first aid, and survival. Each badge represents something new they've learned and a challenge they've conquered.

More than just fun. Scouting teaches values like loyalty, kindness, bravery, and helping others. Scouts promise to do their best and leave places better than they found them.

Outdoor exploration. Whether hiking, building shelters, or learning to read maps, Scouts spend lots of time outside discovering nature and building confidence in their own abilities.

Found everywhere. Scouting exists in over 170 countries, meaning millions of young people worldwide are part of this same community, even if they live far apart.
