Cool Facts
Snow packed tight. To play a snowball fight, you pack loose snow into balls by squeezing it in your hands until it becomes hard and solid. The tighter you pack it, the better it flies through the air.
Like dodgeball. Snowball fights work similarly to dodgeball, where you throw at opponents and try to dodge incoming throws. But snowball fights are usually casual games with friends rather than organized competitions with strict rules.
Winter activity only. You can only have a good snowball fight when there is enough snow on the ground, which happens during winter in cold places. Without sufficient snowfall, there simply isn't enough snow to make good snowballs.
Fun with friends. Snowball fights are typically played outside with groups of friends or family during snowy weather. They're a great way to have active fun and burn energy while enjoying winter.
