Numbers Only. Sudoku uses digits 1 through 9, and you don't need any math skills to solve it. You're just figuring out where each number fits based on the rules, kind of like a number detective.

The Grid. A Sudoku grid is 9×9 squares divided into nine 3×3 boxes. Each row, column, and box must contain the numbers 1 to 9 without repeating any number.

One Solution. A properly made Sudoku puzzle has exactly one correct answer. The puzzle setter gives you some numbers already filled in to start, and your job is to figure out the rest.

Pure Logic. Sudoku is all about logic and reasoning, not luck or guessing. You look at what numbers are possible in each empty square and eliminate options until you find what works.
