Duck-bill herbivore. Tsintaosaurus had a flat, wide snout that looked like a duck's bill, perfect for stripping leaves and plants from trees and bushes.
Powerful chewing teeth. This dinosaur had a battery of strong teeth packed together in its jaws that could grind up tough plants into pulp.
Four-legged walker. Tsintaosaurus spent most of its time walking on all four legs, moving slowly through forests and grasslands hunting for food.
Quick escape artist. When a predator appeared, Tsintaosaurus could rear up on its strong hind legs to see danger from far away and run away fast.
Herd traveler. These dinosaurs lived and traveled together in groups, which helped protect them from hungry meat-eating dinosaurs.
