Cool Facts
Research comes first. UX designers don't just guess what people want. They watch real users, collect data, and test ideas to understand what actually works and what frustrates people.
It's about the whole journey. UX design looks at everything a person experiences with a product, from how easy it is to find what they need to whether they trust the company. It's much bigger than just how pretty it looks.
Users drive the decisions. Instead of designers making choices based on what they like, UX design puts the user's needs and feelings at the center. If data shows people are confused, designers change things to fix that confusion.
Different from just interfaces. User interface (UI) design focuses on buttons and menus, but UX design thinks about the entire experience, including whether the product is actually useful and whether people enjoy using it.
Part of a bigger picture. UX design is one important piece of customer experience, which includes everything a customer encounters with a company from start to finish.
