Huge horned dinosaur. Utahceratops was about 15 to 16 feet long, making it roughly the size of a school bus parked lengthwise. This ceratopsian dinosaur was built tough and strong for walking on four thick legs across ancient Utah.
Vegetarian dinosaur. Unlike many fearsome meat-eating dinosaurs, Utahceratops munched on plants all day long. Its strong body helped it support the weight of its large head and impressive horn structures.
Ancient Utah resident. When Utahceratops lived between 76 and 75 million years ago, Utah was very different from today. The area had different plants, a wetter climate, and was home to many other strange prehistoric creatures.
Late Cretaceous dweller. Utahceratops existed during the last major period of the dinosaur age, the Late Cretaceous. It lived millions of years before the asteroid impact that wiped out dinosaurs for good.
