Huge and empty. Wyoming is the tenth-largest state by area, but it has fewer people living there than any other state in the USA. That means you can find lots of wide-open spaces, mountains, and nature.

Mountain West location. Wyoming sits in the Mountain West region and borders six other states: Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Idaho, Utah, and Colorado. It's completely landlocked, so there's no ocean nearby.

Capital city Cheyenne. Cheyenne is the biggest city and the capital of Wyoming. Despite being the largest city in the state, it still has a small-town frontier feel.

Second-lowest density. With so much land and so few people, Wyoming has the second-lowest population density of any state. This means there's lots of room to roam and explore nature.
