Chunky plant-eater. Anchiceratops was a medium-sized dinosaur about as long as a school bus, walking on all four legs and munching on plants during the Cretaceous Period.
Fancy skull frill. This dinosaur had an elongated, rectangular frill on the back of its head decorated with coarse triangular projections that stuck out like a punk rock hairdo.
Two impressive brow horns. Anchiceratops had two long horns above its eyes and a shorter horn on its nose, making it look ready for any dinosaur standoff.
Ancient Alberta resident. This dinosaur lived 73 to 68 million years ago in what is now Alberta, Canada, during the late Cretaceous Period.
Well-studied fossils. About a dozen Anchiceratops skulls have been discovered, giving scientists plenty of bones to study and understand this dinosaur's life.
