Designed like a castle. American architect Bruce Price created the Château Frontenac in the Château style, which means it looks like the grand castles you'd find in France. The building has towers, pointed roofs, and fancy details that make it look magical.

Most photographed hotel. The Château Frontenac is famous around the world as the most photographed hotel ever. People love snapping pictures of its impressive towers and the beautiful St. Lawrence River views from its location in Old Quebec.

Built by a railway company. The Canadian Pacific Railway company built this amazing hotel in the late 1800s. Back then, railways wanted to create fancy hotels to welcome travelers arriving by train.

Sits in Old Quebec. The hotel perches on a hilltop in the historic Upper Town section of Quebec City. From there, visitors can see the narrow cobblestone streets and historic buildings that make Quebec City feel like stepping back in time.
