One of four majors. The Masters is one of the four biggest professional golf tournaments in the world. The other three majors are the U.S. Open, the Open Championship, and the PGA Championship.

Always in April. The Masters is scheduled for the first full week in April every single year, making it the first major golf tournament of the season.

Same place always. Unlike other major tournaments that move to different courses each year, the Masters is always held at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. This tradition makes it extra special and famous.

Private golf course. Augusta National is a private club, which means only members and invited guests can play there normally. But thousands of spectators come to watch the Masters tournament there every spring.
