Cool Facts
Spring-powered bouncing. A pogo stick has a powerful spring underneath that pushes you up into the air every time you land. The spring stores energy when you jump down, then releases it to launch you back up again.
An extreme sport. Some people have turned pogo sticks into a competitive sport called Xpogo, where athletes do tricks, jumps, and stunts just like skateboarders or BMX riders do.
Good exercise too. Bouncing on a pogo stick is actually a fun way to work out your legs, balance, and coordination while having a blast.
Modern technology upgrade. While classic pogo sticks use metal springs, today's high-performance versions use special materials and designs that make them lighter and bouncier than ever before.
