Massive brain power. Ravens can solve puzzles, use tools, and even plan for the future. They're so intelligent that scientists compare them to apes and dolphins in how they think.
Bigger than cousins. Ravens and crows are actually part of the same bird family, but ravens are noticeably larger and have shaggy feathers on their throats that make them look extra tough.
Chatty communicators. Ravens make dozens of different sounds to talk to each other, from croaks and clicks to bell-like calls. Some can even mimic human words and other animal sounds.
Found everywhere cold. Ravens live across the entire Northern Hemisphere and have adapted to mountains, forests, deserts, and even cities. They're tough birds that can survive in harsh, freezing places.
Opportunistic eaters. Ravens aren't picky about food. They eat insects, small animals, berries, seeds, and garbage. They're often seen following wolves or hunters to snack on leftover kills.
