Players Stay Seated. In sitting volleyball, all players must stay on the floor with their bottoms touching the ground while playing. This makes the net lower and the court smaller than regular volleyball, creating a completely different and really cool game.

Organized Worldwide. Sitting volleyball is run by an organization called World ParaVolley that helps athletes all around the globe compete fairly and have fun together.

Paralympic Sport. Sitting volleyball is an official Paralympic sport, which means the world's best sitting volleyball teams compete at the Paralympic Games, just like other sports at the Olympics.

Takes Real Skill. Because players can't move their legs to adjust position, they need amazing core strength, quick reflexes, and teamwork to bump, set, and spike the ball successfully.
