Eight magical legs. Unlike normal horses with four legs, Sleipnir has eight legs that let him run incredibly fast across the sky and between different worlds. No other horse in Norse mythology comes close to his speed and power.

Odin's special steed. The god Odin rides Sleipnir whenever he needs to travel. This eight-legged horse is considered the very best of all horses in Norse stories.

Child of chaos. Sleipnir's parents were Loki, the trickster god, and a giant horse named Svaðilfari. This unusual family tree makes Sleipnir part god and part giant.

Grey and legendary. Sleipnir is described as having grey-colored fur. Ancient stories say this magical horse could even travel to Hel, the dark realm of the dead.
