Cool Facts
Tiny world inside. A snow globe is a clear glass sphere that holds a miniature scene like a snowy town, landscape, or figure. Everything is sealed up inside with water that makes the magic work.
Snow that falls. The white particles in a snow globe aren't real snow, but when you shake the globe, they get all mixed up in the water. Once you stop shaking and set it down, the flakes slowly drift and swirl to the bottom, just like real snowfall.
Musical versions. Some snow globes have a built-in music box hidden in the base that plays a song while you watch the snow fall. It makes the whole experience feel like you're watching a tiny, magical performance.
Collectible treasures. People collect snow globes from different places and time periods, and they can have beautiful decorative designs on the outer base. Some become quite special because of their age, rarity, or the amazing scenes inside.
