Yunnanosaurus

Ancient Chinese giant. Yunnanosaurus lived in what is now Yunnan Province in China about 199 to 183 million years ago, long before humans existed.

Herbivore with choices. This dinosaur ate plants and could weigh as much as a small car, ranging from 23 feet to 43 feet long depending on the species.

Two or four legs. Unlike some dinosaurs that could only walk one way, Yunnanosaurus could walk on all four legs or rear up on its two hind legs.

Varied in size. The smallest Yunnanosaurus was about 23 feet long, while the largest ones could grow up to 13 feet tall when standing on their hind legs.
