Assembly line magic. Ford invented a faster way to build cars by having workers add one part at a time as the car moved down a line, instead of building each car from scratch. This meant cars could be made super quickly and cheaply.

Price kept dropping. When the Model T first came out in 1910, it cost $780, which was a lot of money back then. But by 1924, the price had dropped to just $290 because Ford made so many of them.

Everyone could drive. Before the Model T, cars were expensive toys only rich people could buy. The Model T changed everything by making cars cheap enough for regular middle-class families to own one.

Nicknamed Tin Lizzie. People affectionately called the Model T the 'Tin Lizzie' because it was made of metal and seemed to run forever, bouncing along bumpy roads like a reliable friend.

Three brilliant engineers. Joseph A. Galamb, Eugene Farkas, and Childe Harold Wills designed the Model T together, creating a simple, sturdy car that millions of people wanted to drive.
