Cool Facts
Kick, not hit. In kickball, you kick an inflated rubber ball instead of swinging a bat at it. This makes the game easier and safer for young players to enjoy.
Circle the bases. Just like in baseball, you kick the ball and then run around the bases to score a run. The other team tries to tag you out with the ball before you get home.
Teams take turns. Both teams alternate half-innings, meaning one team kicks while the other plays defense, then they switch. The team with the most runs after a set number of innings wins.
Safe and accessible. Because you're kicking a soft, bouncy ball instead of hitting a hard one with a bat, kickball is easier for kids of all skill levels to play and enjoy together.
