England's football home. Wembley Stadium is where the English national football team plays most of their home matches, and it's also where the FA Cup Final, the most important football competition in England, takes place every year.

Rebuilt in 2007. The new Wembley opened in 2007 on the exact same spot where the original Wembley Stadium stood from 1923 until 2000. The old stadium was famous for decades before being replaced with this modern version.

Massive seating capacity. With 90,000 seats, Wembley is the largest stadium in the entire United Kingdom and the second-largest in Europe, beaten only by Barcelona's Camp Nou.

Run by the FA. The Football Association, which is the main governing body of English football, owns Wembley Stadium and has its headquarters right inside the building.

World-famous venue. Wembley is considered one of the most well-known football stadiums in the world and is seen as the heart of English football.
